About Us
Founded in 2023, Nartanam is a nurturing Bharatanatyam studio based in Secunderabad, directed by Varshini and managed by Smt. Anuradha. We are dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of one of India’s oldest classical dance forms.
Open to students of all ages and experience levels, the studio offers a welcoming space where beginners discover their first steps and advanced dancers refine their artistry.
Our students regularly take the stage at cultural events, festivals and conferences in India and the USA, earning recognition for their grace, precision, and devotion to Bharatanatyam.
Our studio space of more than 100 square metres is located near Sainikpuri, Hyderabad.

The People
Creative Director & Lead Instructor
A professional Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer and actress from Hyderabad with more than 20 years of experience. A Bala Shree awardee, she was felicitated at Rashtrapati Bhavan by the former President of India, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, for excellence in the performing arts. She is also a recipient of multiple CCRT and HRD scholarships from the Government of India.
She trained under the renowned Guru Sri V. S. Ramamoorthy and Guru Smt. Manjula Ramaswamy, and has given more than 2,500 solo recitals across India and internationally in the USA and Malaysia. She has presented her artistry at several prestigious festivals and sabhas, including venues such as the Indur Utsav, World Trade Fair Summit, and Krishna Gana Sabha.
Varshini was also the lead actress in several television serials in Telugu and Tamil. She is a two-time Nandi Award recipient for Best Child Actress, and recently won the celebrity season of the popular ETV dance reality show Dhee. At Nartanam, she channels this experience into nurturing the next generation, instilling in every student both the technical precision and the soulful expression that define Bharatanatyam at its finest.
Managing Director
The force behind Nartanam's daily operations, Smt. Anuradha brings warmth, organization, and a deep commitment to every student's journey. From coordinating schedules and managing communications to fostering a welcoming atmosphere, she ensures that dancers and their families feel supported at every step.
On Stage
Our students regularly take the stage at cultural events, festivals and conferences across India and the USA — and every March the whole school comes together for our annual anniversary production.
